14 cities of UP including Meerut will be developed like Ayodhya, Chief Minister orders to prepare plans
The Chief Minister has ordered a development plan on the lines of Ayodhya for a total of 14 cities of the state including Meerut. In Ayodhya, with the help of a world-class advisor, there are preparations to provide core cities and green field townships, which, if anyone sees, can be praised.
Meerut. Development of Meerut city will also be like Ayodhya. The Chief Minister has ordered a development plan on the lines of Ayodhya for a total of 14 cities of the state including Meerut. With the help of a world-class advisor in Ayodhya, there is a plan to develop core cities and green field townships and provide such facilities in them, which no one sees but appreciates. Apart from this, there will be special work on a total of ten points including tourism development, water supply, drainage, rain water harvesting, solar energy development, sewage and sanitation, reuse of treated waste, smart roads. The Collector has appointed the Municipal Commissioner as the nodal officer for this. The government has asked for this plan till 31 May.
The state government is preparing to make Ayodhya a major center of tourism and to develop the city as a model city. A world-class advisor is being appointed for this. According to his plan, the Housing Department will get this work done through the Ayodhya Development Authority. The plan has been sought by the Chief Secretary from the DMs of all the districts. The district administration in Meerut has also started action for this. Collector K. Balaji has also directed senior superintendent of police, vice-chairman Meerut Development Authority and ADM City to help in this.
According to the needs of Meerut, the Ayodhya model will be studied first in the plan. After that the development plan of the city of Meerut will be prepared keeping in mind the situation and needs of the place. This scheme will attempt to develop Meerut into a tourist center and provide facilities to the public. The plan will be sent to the government within the stipulated time frame.

Chief Minister has given a plan on Ayodhya model in 14 cities including Meerut Plans are being made by appointing world class advisors. Ayodhya core city will be settled in 31.5 sq km. There will be many specialties in the core city, space will be reserved for every task in it. Ayodhya will be relocated. Out of 873.37 sq km development area, a development plan of 133.67 sq km is being prepared.
Focus on 10 projects:Tourism development, water supply, drainage and rainwater harvesting, solar energy development, sewage and sanitation, reuse of treated waste, smart roads, road improvements, disaster risk reduction projects and solid waste management. Greenfield Township on 1200 acres. Ayodhya will be developed as a Global Tourist Destination. Spiritual tourism will be encouraged. Facilities related to traditional health will be developed. Facilities like Ayurveda, Naturopathy will be provided. Heritage and architecture will be preserved. Ayodhya will be connected by road, rail and air services. Report
