BL Agro helping in 88 percent improvement in AQI:
On the occasion of World Environment Day, the manufacturing unit of edible oil and other food products company BL Agro is believed to be the only company in the state which operates on 100% solar energy. Due to which the carbon emissions from the manufacturing plant are reduced. BL Agro has become the first company to install air purifiers in partnership with Pure Skies, Greentech, to install pollution control equipment by Davis Earth and also to improve the air quality index by 88 per cent in Parsakheda industrial area in Bareilly. Ashish Khandelwal, Managing Director, BL Agro said, “Greenhouse gas not only affects the environment around us, but also has a negative impact on our health. Said that BL Agro has always taken initiative to make the environment clean and green. The company had earlier started a plantation drive in 2015 and so far the company has planted more than 15,000 saplings in the city.
